Sokrates offers double rooms and studios for two persons, apartments for four and larger apartments for up to five persons. In some flats an additional bed is possible.

Breakfast is served at the inside or outside, cool drinks are available during the whole day at the bar.

The larger apartments are suitable for up to five persons, there is bathroom and toilet en suite, some have air condition to keep the rooms cool on really hot summer days. The kitchen is completely equipped with fridge, stove, cutlery and table-ware. The smaller apartments for up to four persons have a similar equippment.

Double rooms are on the first floor, they have an individual balcony towards the inner garden and air condition.

The studios have one large room with a kitchenette in the entrance area, there's table-ware for three, fridge, stove and the usual accessories. Because of all those plants around and thanks to the house's solid quality the rooms keep quite cool even in mid summer.

Windows and doors have special mosquito nets to guarantee undisturbed nights.

The lounge with chimney and library is located next to the reception, it is open for all quests who need some rather undisturbed moments.

At the reception we'll be there for you the whole day, we may inform you about topics concerning your stay on Crete, to give advice on excursions, on renting a car or on other themes we know about.

The gymnasium is at our guests' disposal.

Damnoni Beach is reachable by foot in few minutes, fine sand and a lot of space is awaiting the visitor. In high season sunbeds may be rented there.

There are further bays and beaches around, each with its own charakter, some hidden behind rocks, others are easiliy reachable on comfortable roads. Tiny tavernas are awaiting you, not to mention all the other aspects of Crete like culture, archaeology or simply the islands natural beauty.

There's a shop nearby selling natural and biological products, a few tavernas are offering tasty cretan-greek specialties.
